Middlesbrough vs. Reading – Middlesbrough -1
Reading are rubbish. Middlesbrough have got Britt Assombalonga. No further explanation on this one needed. Routine win for the Teesiders, so we’re going with MIDDLESBROUGH WITH A -1 HANDICAP, currently priced at 8/5 in the HANDICAP RESULT MARKET.
Bolton Wanderers vs. Fulham – Fulham to Win
Fulham have recently started showing some of the form which got them into the playoffs last season, and, despite a failed attempt at promotion last term, their excellent playing style and potency going forward saw them ranked among the favourites with the bookies to win the title pre-season. A less than impressive start to the season, however, made the automatic promotion places seem a long way off. In the last few weeks and months, though, Slavisa Jokanovic’s men have really gone up a gear, and they’re well in the pack for that second automatic promotion spot. Therefore, we reckon they’ll add another win to their impressive recent run as they travel to a Bolton side who, despite improvements following a turgid start to this campaign, still find themselves embroiled in a relegation dogfight. So we’ll be adding FULHAM TO WIN, found in the MATCH RESULT MARKET, to our betslips, currently priced up at a generous looking 10/11.
Blackburn Rovers vs. Oldham Athletic – Blackburn to Win & Both Teams to Score
Blackburn are a favourite of ours this season. There is a positive atmosphere around Ewood Park at the moment, and we fully expect them to bolster that with a win at home to an Oldham side who have stuttered in recent weeks, as the honeymoon period they experienced immediately after appointing Richie Wellens as manager seems to have vanished. Not only do we expect a Rovers win, we expect goals. On the last ten occasions that the hosts have picked up all three points, they’ve conceded during seven of them, which suggests something of a theme is developing, so we’re going with BLACKBURN ROVERS TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE in the RESULT/BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE MARKET, currently priced up at 12/5, which will give a real boost to any accumulator.
Exeter City vs. Wycombe Wanderers – Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams to Score
A bit like Blackburn are a favourite team of ours, the TOTAL GOALS/BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE MARKET has become a real mainstay of #ShitTips, and especially so where Wycombe Wanderers are involved. Their matches this season have been mostly very entertaining, and no more so than their games in the last week or so. Consecutive 3-2 wins over Crewe and Luton on the road were followed up by a last gasp turn around at Adams Park, where the Chairboys found themselves trailing by the same scoreline heading into injury time, but goals from Paris Cowan-Hall and Marcus Bean deep into stoppage time gave them the win. Now, we’re not saying that Wycombe will win the match, but when they travel to an Exeter side boasting the likes of Liam McAlinden and Jayden Stockley, we completely expect a goalfest. So we’re returning to a favourite bet of ours, and will be backing OVER 2.5 GOALS AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE, currently priced up at 6/5, so a touch above evens, and this is our NAP for Saturday’s fixtures.
So, to recap, our four selections for this week’s #ShitTips offerings are:
Bolton Wanderers vs. Fulham – Fulham to Win – 10/11
Middlesbrough vs. Reading – Middlesbrough -1 – 8/5
Blackburn Rovers vs. Oldham Athletic – Blackburn to Win & Both Teams to Score – 12/5
Exeter City vs. Wycombe Wanderers – Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams to Score – 6/5
Feeling brave? Back our selections as a fourfold, which at time of writing comes to around the 37/1 mark, now that’s worth a quid of anybody’s money, isn’t it?
