United kick off a massive Easter weekend with yet another six-pointer against playoff hopefuls Morecambe. The big question over the Easter weekend is how much we’re going to see of Wes Hoolahan, and based on Bonner’s comments earlier this season it’s likely he’ll play tomorrow and not travel to Tranmere, but it really is anyones guess.

The U’s remain more or less injury-free, and that means Bonner has a full-strength outfield to choose from, Paul Mullin being subbed off early as a result of a knock at Carlisle but should be ready for the weekend. Ahead of Callum Burton in goal we should see a back four of Knoyle, Taylor, Okedina and Iredale, but the midfield is where things are likely to change with Adam May, Shilow Tracey & Luke Hannant all in contention for starts during this busy period.
Expected U’s Line-Up: Burton, Knoyle, Taylor, Okedina, Iredale, Digby, O’Neil, Boateng, Hoolahan, Mullin, Ironside
We’ve gone with our strongest eleven to start, but wouldn’t be surprised if we see a number of subs early in the second half to try and manage fitness due to the two games in quick succession. Up front it can only be Mullin & Ironside, but again we expect to see Harvey Knibbs come on at some point.
Who’s Their Player To Watch? Incredibly quick, Premier League experience, over £1,000,000 in transfer fees spent on him; Jordan Slew is as dangerous on the pitch as he is behind the wheel. Only joking. Nat Knight-Percival and Yann Songo’o are both experienced at this level and the league above and have contributed to Morecambe’s good form this season.
Who’s In The Dugout? With plenty of experience in Scotland and England, Derek Adams knows what it takes to get out of this league having led Plymouth to promotion in 2017 after missing out in the playoffs the year before. He’s been at Morecambe since 2019.
What’s Their Recent Form Like? P5, W3, D1, L1, For 8, Against 6
Any Ex-United Players? Only the aforementioned Jordan Slew
