Got their work cut out to stay up. Definitely think they are light on depth and quality in a number of areas. Can definitely be argued that they have not strengthened overall following promotion. Need to approach this season with almost no expectations. Wouldn’t want anyone other than Bonner in charge of this side, and if he can get the underdog spirit going and get the players united in playing for him, then there’s half a chance of survival. Key that the midfield don’t leave the striker isolated, question marks over whether the defence will be strong enough to withstand L1 attacks. They didn’t concede many last season overall, but they did concede some soft ones. Jones and Weir look signings with potential at this level and Lankester looks decent if we can get him fit. Smith could be ok but if him and Ironside get 8-10 each, they will have done very well. It’ll be little short of a miracle if we survive, though, and will far eclipse the achievement of promotion.
