U’s 4-1 Oxford: Pizza Piss

We’re not going to give the Papa John’s Trophy the dignity of a proper match report, but couldn’t let a decent victory against Oxford go unnoticed. It’s still a joke competition but it’s good to see Bonner use it to blood the likes of Kai Mackenzie-Lyle, Mamadou Jobe, Ben Worman, Liam Bennett and Kai Yearn into the side. All the youngsters looked decent, and goals came from Sam Smith x2, Harvey Knibbs and Yearn, who at just over 16, became our youngest ever goalscorer. The future’s bright, the future’s amber.
